Many special education teams are working hard to improve IEP processes, but still face common challenges:

• Student voice is limited in IEP meetings

• Transition planning is inconsistent or unclear

• Meetings feel compliance-driven rather than student-focused

• Families are not fully engaged in planning conversations

• Tools and processes vary widely across teams

This webinar explores practical approaches to make IEPs and transition planning more meaningful, structured, and student-centred.

In this live session, you will discover:

• How to increase meaningful student participation in IEP meetings

• Practical strategies for improving transition planning outcomes

• How PATH and MAPs approaches support structured planning conversations

• Ways to strengthen collaboration with families and teams

• Real examples of person-centred planning in action

• Special Education Teachers

• Directors of Special Education

• School Psychologists

• IEP Coordinators and Case Managers

• Student Services and Inclusion Leaders

• Transition Coordinators

This is a practical professional development webinar focused on real-world implementation in schools and districts.

You will see approaches, examples, and tools that can be adapted for immediate use in IEP and transition planning processes.

Attendees will also be introduced to our Person-Centred Planning PATH and MAPs Bundle, which includes tools, templates, and facilitation resources used internationally in schools and services.

Anyone who enrolls within 25 days of the webinar will also receive access to an exclusive live Implementation Clinic for school teams and practitioners.
