Beth Darwin

I am a freelance creative facilitator with experience across a range of voluntary and paid roles, including community and inclusion support, working within an arts centre, and delivering a wide range of creative facilitation projects. My work includes person-centred training and planning, graphic facilitation (both online and in person with young people as well as adults), video making, and social media, all grounded in collaboration, creativity, and relationship-building.

I hold a BA (Hons) Degree in Film and Moving Image (2:1), which sparked my interest in teamwork, storytelling, and visual communication. During my studies, I explored themes of identity, fashion, and belonging, and how visual expression plays a key role in how people connect to themselves and others. This has strongly influenced my creative and facilitation practice.

Currently, I focus my facilitation and creative skills within the fields of education and psychology, creating digital and visual content that emphasises the importance of belonging, inclusion, and accessibility for all. I enjoy bringing together my diverse experiences to find innovative, flexible ways to support different learning styles and needs.

Through my work, I have discovered the transformative power of graphic facilitation and visual thinking. These approaches help make complex ideas more accessible, support shared understanding, and provide clarity around goals and next steps.

I am deeply passionate about fostering inclusive, person-centred environments where people feel valued, heard, and supported. I believe that when we authentically listen and plan with people at the centre, we create space for growth, belonging, and meaningful change.
